The Pure Land of the Medicine Buddha
Pure Land Farms named after Tanaduk, the Pure Land of the Medicine Buddha, is a ten acre rural sanctuary located in Topanga, on the edge of Los Angeles, California. A true healing oasis within a bustling vibrant city, it is a place to retreat and restore, to learn and connect.
We are home of the Sowa Rigpa Institute: School of Tibetan Medicine founded by Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
We offer non-residential and online courses and workshops in the subjects of Tibetan Medicine, Buddhism, yoga, and rejuvenation, and group practices and small retreats in the Yuthok Nyingthig lineage, the unique spiritual tradition of Tibetan Medicine.
In addition we offer diverse programming in the fields of music, traditional arts and culture through Yangchenma Arts & Music.
In the spirit of Yuthok Yönten Gönpo, the father of Tibetan Medicine and great non-sectarian teacher, we welcome students and practitioners of all lineages.

The Sowa Rigpa Institute: School of Tibetan Medicine
Pure Land Farms is home of the Sowa Rigpa Institute: School of Traditional Tibetan Medicine founded by Dr. Nida Chenagtsang. We offer professional certificate trainings in Sowa Rigpa, the Tibetan "science of healing" as well as short courses and workshops to promote health and well-being for the general public.
Courses are offered in-person at Pure Land Farms and online through Sowa Rigpa Online.
